A Canton ivory puzzle ball, comprised of approximately eight pierced concentric layers, the outer layer carved with Eastern figures at work, the ball raised upon a highly decorative stand with knopped stem and barrel shaped base having carved scene depicting two labouring figures, on circular foot, 12" (30.5cm) high.

Central thread connection on stand is loose and does not fix tight, this is likely due to over tightening.
