An oval painted portrait miniature, depicting a head and shoulder portrait of a young gentleman, in rectangular painted wooden frame under glass, indistinct handwritten date to paper backing '15th Sept (?) 1830', 2" x 1.75" (5cm x 4.5cm).

Miniature with heavy wear, possibly water damage. Fading and damage to paint.
Frame worn, scratched and with dents, mounts and oval surround heavily tarnished and discoloured.
