Lot Description

A 17th century oak 'joynt' stool. The moulded rectangular seat bobbin-turned legs linked by plain stretchers, 17.75" x 11.25" x 18" high, (45cm x 28.5cm x 46cm).

Very dry/lacking patina. Crack to one short edge of seat. General wear to frame including cracks to oe side stretcher and loss to top of one block where it meets seat. Overall very pale but could be waxed to make a good stool.
