A late Victorian walnut davenport, having a gilt-tooled green skiver to the hinged fall front opening to a storage compartment with four short drawers, before a further hinged shelf having a pierced brass gallery opening to a compartmented interior, all over two front scroll carved legs and bank of four drawers, the whole raised upon four turned bun feet terminating with castors, 33.5" (80.5cm) high.
