Lot Description

A pair of 19th century ash and elm low hoop back windsor armchairs, having pierced splats to the railed backs with c-curved arm rest over front turned and knopped supports, raised upon four further turned legs and h-stretcher, 36" (91 cm) high to top of backs. Together with another having ribbed detail to the railed back and supports, 31" (78.75cm). (3).

Pair are in fair to poor condition commensurate with age and use, one with small loss to splat and each with heavy wear, scratches and joints are fairly loose. Single with heavy wear, rubbing and knocks throughout, and split to arm rest.
