A 14ct gold tanzanite and diamond ring. The oval tanzanite, with tapered baguette-cut diamond sides and graduated brilliant-cut diamond border. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Hallmarks for Sheffield, 2004. Ring size Q. Weight 5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. <p>
<li> Setting of one baguette-cut diamond may require attention. <p>
<li> Tanzanite medium/dark slightly purplish-blue, well saturated, with fairly good clarity and a small number of light coloured inclusions towards the edges of the stone.<p>
<li>Diamonds vary in shape, cut, colour and clarity. <p>
<li> Diamonds bright .<p>
<li> Baguette and tapered baguette diamonds show no obvious inclusions under magnification. <p>
<li> Brilliant-cut diamonds vary in clarity with some profuse dark coloured inclusions to a few diamonds, light and dark inclusions scattered within a most diamonds seen easily under magnification. <p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li> Tanzanite in good to fair condition with mostly minor abrasions and some heavier abrasion, with some minor nibbles to the table facet. <p>
<li> Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
