A late Victorian 15ct gold, amethyst and split pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst, within a split pearl scalloped surround. Length 2.9cms. Weight 11gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Amethyst appear slightly raised within the mount. Mounts possibly re-worked.
<li>Possible replacement stones.
<li>Split pearls are well matched.
<li>Amethyst is a medium deep slightly pinkish purple hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Amethyst in fair condition with minor abrasions, few deeper scratches and nicks.<p>
<li>Stamped 15ct to pin hinge.
