An early Victorian gold foil-backed garnet and split pearl necklace. Designed as a series of oval and circular-shape foil-back garnets, interspaced by split pearls, to the graduated similarly-set square-shape central garnets, suspending a oval-shape garnet dropper. Length 38cms. Weight 12.8gms. With fitted case.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Garnets medium red, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.<p>

<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
