A pair of mid Victorian silver and gold citrine and diamond earrings, circa 1860. Each designed as a foil-back pear-shape citrine, within a rose-cut diamond surround, suspended from a similarly-cut diamond foliate surmount. Length 5.3cms. Weight 9.8gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Wear and discolouration to the settings.
<li>Probable replacement foil and gemstones.
<li>Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.
<li>Diamond fairly well matched.
<li>Chips visible to several of the diamonds.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Citrine in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.Some scratches to the table facets.<p>
