An open face pocket watch by Charles John Cope. Silver case, hallmarked London 1829. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 51mm. Together with a silver chain.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial has a series of hairline cracks. Cracks are located to the edge of the enamel dial running in a shallow curve from three o'clock towards five o'clock.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Hinges appear intact.<p>
