A half hunter pocket watch by Mappin. 9ct yellow gold case, hallmarked Birmingham 1938. Numbered 644031. Unsigned keyless wind three quarter plate movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 49mm. 94gms.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning. Balance appears to be intact
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Two hairline cracks radiate out from four, one curves down to five the other crosses the dial to eight through the subsidiary seconds dial which it crosses at thirteen and fifty two seconds.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Hinges have some play.
<li>Crown has scratches and marks.
