A mid 20th century 18ct gold diamond and ruby ring. Of openwork design, the brilliant-cut diamond tapered panel and marquise-shape ruby scattered highlights, to the textured panel. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Ring size P1/2. Weight 10gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band shows evidence of resize, slightly misshaped.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Rubies in fair to poor condition with some abrasion and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
<li>Three rubies significantly chipped, with fractures running through the stones. Durability significantly impaired.
<li>Stamped 18ct.
