Lot Description
An early 20th century gold, black opal and diamond pendant. The oval black opal cabochon drop, to the oval black opal cabochon surmount, with old-cut diamond bar accent. Later added trace-link chain. Original chain also present. Dimensions of opals: 25 by 16mms and 15 by 11mms. Length of drop 6cms. Length of chain 42cms. Weight 9.1gms. With case.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Noticeable chip to one side of the top opal.<p>
<li> Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Estimated diamond weight 0.07ct. The diamond has a light yellow tint.
<li>The opals have large pay-of-colour visible displaying red, orange, green, blue and violet. Some hazy areas present to larger opal.
<li>The necklace has been replaced with a modern stronger chain. The original chain is still present, loose within the case.
