Lot Description
An open face pocket watch. Silver case with personal engraving to the cuvette and monogram to case back, hallmarked Birmingham 1899. Signed three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 52mm. Box. With a silver Albert chain with fob.

<li>Movement is currently functioning, however winding action may need attention.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial shows cracks as well as marks. Subsidiary dial has sunken to form a gap between this and the dial as a whole.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>case shows marks and scratches. Case also shows visible tarnishing. Cuvette has a presentation engraving.
<li>Hinges have wear to the corners.
<li>Crown has scratches and marks with wear to the plating.<p>
<li>Chain and fob shows visible tarnishing, marks and scratches.<p>
