An early 20th century gold cultured pearl and diamond brooch. The cultured pearl, between old-cut diamond collet side, with similarly-cut diamond curved line detail and tapered terminals. Estimated principal diamond weight 0.50ct, I-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Length 5.1cms. Weight 6.6gms.

<li> Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. <p>
<li> One small diamond protrudes the side of its setting and requires attention. <p>
<li> Cultured pearl slightly off-round, creamy-white body-colour, with rose overtones and fair lustre with good skin showing very light blemishes.<p>
<li> Diamonds mostly well matched. <p>
<li> Diamonds bright.<p>
<li> Diamonds show light and dark inclusions which can be seen very easily under magnification. <p>
<li> Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. <p>
<li> Stones in mostly good condition with minor abrasions, some in fair condition with slight nibbles and chips to facet edges, a few have more noticeable chips, one has a fairly large portion deficient. <p>
