A late Victorian micro mosaic brooch. Of rectangular outline, the micro mosaic depicting a bird flying to a floral garland, with rope-twist accent surround. Length 4.3cms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Some slight lifting and discolouration to the surround. Possible small repairs.
<li>Black glass with some small pock marks, small chips to the surface and moderate abrasion and nicks to the edge.
<li>Mosaic in good condition.
