Lot Description

A sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The cushion-shape pink sapphire, weighing approximately 1.40cts, within a brilliant-cut diamond scalloped surround. Accompanied by report number 5776-6676, dated 18th August 2016, from Gemmological Certification Services, stating the reddish pink sapphire is of Burma origin with no indication of heating. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Ring size P. Weight 2.8gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, and slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Band shows evidence of resize.

<li>The ruby is a bright pinkish red, with good saturation. Moderate abrasion and nibbles to the facet edges.

<li>Diamonds bright.<p>


<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
