Lot Description

A pair of late Victorian silver mounted glass bud vases, the glass bodies of ovoid form having panelled decoration and raised upon a spreading silver foot. Hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1895. Height measures 4 6/8 inches (12 cm). (Bases filled).

The vases are in overall fair condition with few minor knocks and chips to the edges of the glass bodies, and with rubbing and tarnishing to the silver bases. Hallmarks are rubbed but still clear and legible.
