An Arts & Crafts silver basket, of squat form having a hammered surface and rope-twist rim below a swing handle and the whole raised upon a footed base. Hallmarked Albert Edward Jones, Birmingham 1925. Diameter measures 7 4/8 inches (19 cm), weight 11.12 ozt (346 grams).

The basket is in fair condition although with areas of tarnishing, dark marks and light scratching. The hallmarks are clear and legible and with part hallmarks to the handle.
