Lot Description
A late Victorian silver mounted double photograph frame, of hinged form having pierced scroll and flower-head mounts with a vacant cartouche to the upper edge of each frame. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1899. Height measures 11 2/8 inches (28.5 cm).

Condition Report
The frame is in overall fair to poor condition with heavy wear and rubbing to the silver mounts causing few small holes to the raised decoration. The bevelled glass to each is in good condition but the backing lining is heavily worn with fraying and holes. Hallmarks are lightly worn and with slight distortion to maker's marks but still legible and with matching hallmarks to the hinge plates.
