A pair of Edwardian silver mounted hairbrushes, each shaped silver back embossed with a Viking ship on the water with cliffs and a setting sun in the background, all within shell and foliate borders. Hallmarked Chester 1907/08, maker's mark partly distorted but possibly Colen Hewer Cheshire. Height measuring 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm).
