Lot Description

A pair of 1930's silver 'Star' trophies, each modelled as a radiating star burst, raised upon a hinged stem and fitting to a rectangular wooden base, having central presentation engraving for the '1939 Silver Sales Star of Merit' and '1939 Silver Star of Better Service' respectively, and with further name engravings to each of the individual spokes. Hallmarked Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd, London 1938. Height inclusive of base measures 17.25 inches (44 cm), gross weight 49.93 ozt (1553 grams).
