Lot Description

A foreign silver and enamel paper knife, the curved blade leading to the blue enamel terminal modelled as a turtle and set with a green gem cabochon to form the shell. Marked silver to the blade. Length measures 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm). (S/D).

The paper knife displays general wear, surface marks and scratches. Some tarnishing to the blade and a few edge nicks and dints around the tip. Several cracks and small losses to the enamel and possible repair around the turtle's neck.
