Lot Description
A late eighteenth century French silver mustard pot, of pierced form having a blue glass liner, the body decorated with three stiff leaf columns and a scene of two classical figures with further grotesque handle. Minerva guarantee beside additional first grade Minerva, plus Association of Gold and Silversmiths 1793 mark beside maker's mark D G and with further Bigorne marks. Height measures 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm), weight exclusive of liner 3.05 ozt (95 grams).

Condition Report
The mustard pot appears in good condition displaying minor wear and rubbing commensurate with age and use. The hinge is slightly loose and the glass liner is in good condition. The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still clear and legible.
