Lot 38

Lot Description

A pair of Edwardian silver mounted tapersticks, of typical form raised on stepped bases with canted corners and rising to the baluster stems. Hallmarked George Unite & Sons, Birmingham 1904. Height measuring 4 1/4 inches (11 cm).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both tapersticks display some general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches. There are numerous little dints and bumps especially around the edges and to the foot rim. There is no lining to the undersides of the bases so this will require some attention. The hallmarks and maker's marks are a little rubbed and partly distorted but are still legible.
