Lot Description
A George III silver meat skewer, of typical form leading to a large suspension ring, hallmarked Joseph Goss & Francis Parsons, Exeter 1811, length measures 9 5/8 inches (24.5 cm). Together with a pair of Edwardian silver lobster picks, the central oval plaques engraved with a shrimp and rampant lion crest, Mappin & Webb Ltd., Sheffield 1908, 7 2/8 inches (18.5 cm), plus a coin set toddy ladle having a wrythen twist baleen handle, 13 inches (33 cm). Gross silver weight 3.64 ozt (113.27 grams). (3).

Condition Report
The lot is in overall fair condition. The meat skewer with general wear and scratches commensurate with age and use plus a few deeper scratches, the hallmarks are worn and rubbed but still legible. The lobster picks each with areas of tarnishing plus light surface wear and scratching, the hallmarks are clear and legible to each. The toddy ladle with multiple small dents and knocks and with wear and few minor splits to the handle, this item is unmarked.
