Lot Description

A set of four mid-twentieth century silver coffee spoons, each with spiral detail to the slim stem and terminating in a monkey finial. Hallmarked Deakin & Francis Ltd., Birmingham 1956. Length measures 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 0.97 ozt (30.3 grams).

All four spoons are heavily tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Displaying general surface marks and scratches. Some heavier wear around the tips of the bowls but they have generally faired quite well. Stems are a little bent. The hallmarks are clear and legible, some slight distortion to maker's marks but still legible.
