Both items displaying general wear, tarnishing, surface marks and scratches. Several small dints and bumps to cream jug and handle. Some loss of surface detail to decoration. Possible repair to stem and underside of base. Also splits in the metal around the square base rim and to the corners. Hallmarks are quite rubbed but still legible. The pepper pot has a small scratched area just above the lower girdle. Also a few minor dints and bumps, mainly to cover. The hallmarks are a little distorted.
