A set of six George III silver Old English dessert spoons by Hester Bateman with feather edge and crested terminals, hallmarked Hester Bateman, London 1777, length of each measuring 6 3/4 inches (17 cm). Together with a further singular dessert spoon, hallmarked Hester Bateman 1779. Gross weight 7.9 ozt (247 grams).

The se of six are in excellent overall condition with light general wear, two of the bowls are worn to the striking edge. Singular dessert spoon is in very poor overall condition. Hallmarks distorted in areas but legible.
