Lot Description

A late Victorian silver teapot, of bulging form having a ribbed border quartered by stiff leaf motifs and with engraved crest, the whole raised upon four ball feet. Hallmarked Walter & John Barnard, London 1894. Height measures 6 2/8 inches (16 cm), gross weight 187.2 ozt (582.4 grams).

The teapot appears in fair condition displaying few dents, knocks and light scratching to body. Slight distortion to feet and so does not stand firm. Hallmarks and engraving are rubbed but still legible.
