Lot Description
A pair of George III provincial silver Fiddle pattern berry spoons, having scroll engraved stems and terminals with a vacant shaped cartouche, hallmarked Joseph Hicks, Exeter 1817, length measures 9 2/8 inches (23.5 cm). Together with an Irish silver spoon having a crested terminal, possibly George III, indistinctly marked including maker's mark possibly John Dalrymple, Dublin, 7 2/8 inches (18.5 cm), and a pair of late Victorian silver sugar tongs, Josiah Williams & Co., Exeter 1882, 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm). Gross weight 6.34 ozt (197 grams). (2).

Condition Report
The berry spoons are each in good to fair condition with general light surface scratching and rubbing plus an area of tarnishing to the terminals. The Irish spoon with rubbing and scratching commensurate with age and use. The sugar tongs with light wear and tarnishing. Hallmarks to berry spoons with minor rubbing but clear and legible. Hallmarks to the Irish spoon are heavily worn and distorted with only Dublin mark and maker's mark partly legible. Hallmarks to sugar tongs are clear and legible and with 'x' within square before the maker's mark.
