The hip flask displays general wear, tarnishing, surface marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. Visible dint just above the crest to one side and a few smaller dints mainly around the base of the cup. Seam lines are visible. Contact marks around the base of the flask, from the action of removing the cup on and off. The interior of the cup is gilded. The bayonet closing mechanism appears in good working order.
