A modern silver compact, the square engine-turned form opening to a sprung platform and silver-gilt interior, hallmarked London 1989, width measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm). Together with a further mid-twentieth century silver compact with flush set sprung cover, lion passant only visible, width measuring 3 inches (7.5 cm). (2).

Good overall condition. With general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Unable to locate full hallmarks to the larger example but could be easily hidden under the inserts. Both with make-up debris and would benefit from a clean and polish.
