An early eighteenth century toy or miniature kettle, the bulbous form with straight spout and detachable cover, maker's mark only for David Clayton, height measuring 5 cm. Together with a pair of toy or miniature chambersticks, unmarked, base diameter measuring 3.7 cm. Gross weight 42 grams.

The kettle displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and bumps, likely to of originally had a base/stand. Chambersticks with obvious wear, tear and repairs - components also missing.
