Lot Description
An Edwardian silver mounted ring box, the plain, elongated oval form with hinged lid having a ribbon and reed border and opening to a material lined interior fitted for six rings. Hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., London 1905. Length measures 4 inches (10 cm).

Condition Report
The box displays some general wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There is some general surface scratching and various other marks and surface nicks. A few small dints, the most notable to the base rim and lid on one side. The hinged lid appears in good working order. The material lining is very worn, faded or discoloured with some tears. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
