An early Victorian silver vinaigrette, the oblong form with engine-turned decoration surround to an initialled cartouche to the underside, scalloped edge and engraved scene of Windsor Castle to the hinged cover opening to a silver-gilt interior with foliate pierced grille. Hallmarked David Pettifer, Birmingham 1848. Length measuring 3.8 cm, weight 20.9 grams.
