A George IV silver vinaigrette, the oblong form modelled as a purse with stippled and punch-work decoration and borders enclosing an engraved floral spray to the base, the hinged lid opening to a silver-gilt interior with a floral and foliate pierced grille. Hallmarked Thomas Newbold, Birmingham, date letter partly worn but likely 1820. Measuring 3 cm by 2.2 cm, weight 8.8 grams.

Condition Report
Displaying expected general surface wear and tarnishing, also surface marks and scratches. A few minor surface dints and bumps. Some wear to the surface decoration but it is generally still good. Hinged lids appear in good working order. Hallmarks are a little rubbed but still legible, date letter partly distorted. The grille appears unhallmarked.
