A Victorian silver vinaigrette, the oblong form with scalloped outline, foliate engraving surrounding the initialled cartouche and opening to a silver-gilt interior with foliate pierced grille. Hallmarked Edward Smith, Birmingham 1852. Length measuring 5.2 cm, weight 27 grams.
