Lot Description
A William IV silver vinaigrette, of rectangular form having and engine-turned exterior and with a vacant cartouche and floral thumb-piece to the hinged cover, opening to a foliate scrollwork and flower-head pierced and gilt grill. Hallmarked Joseph Bettridge, Birmingham 1833. Length measures 3.5 cm, weight 16.94 grams. (Pin missing to interior hinge).

Condition Report
The vinaigrette is in overall good to fair condition although the pin is missing to the interior hinge for the grill. General light wear and few knocks to the edges of exterior. The main hinge and interior are in good condition and with no damage or distortion to the piercing. The hallmarks are clear and legible with part hallmarks to the cover.
