Lot Description
A George III silver-gilt vinaigrette, of plain circular form having a suspension ring to the top, the hinged cover opening to a star pierced grill within a radiating petal engraved border. Hallmarked London 1804, W T probably for William Thompson II. Diameter measures 3 cm, weight 13.24 grams.

Condition Report
The vinaigrette appears in good condition with general scratching and wear to the exterior. The hinge is in good working order and the interior is in good condition again with minor scratching. The hallmarks are clear and legible although the marker's mark is slightly indistinct and with standard marks to inside cover and grill.
