A 1920's silver match box sleeve, having engine-turned decoration to base and the tortoiseshell top with silver coloured inlay depicting a ribbon tied floral necklace. Hallmarked Stephen J Rose, London 1922. Length measures 4.5 cm.

Condition Report
The sleeve displays general wear, tarnishing, surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and general use. Heavier wear and rubbing to edges and corners with some slight surface wear to engine turned decoration. Hallmarks a little rubbed but mostly legible although the leopard head is very worn.
