A mid-Victorian Scottish silver vesta case, having an engine-turned exterior with a vacant circular cartouche and a circular recess verso, opening to a vacant interior, hallmarked A G Whighton, Edinburgh, length measures 2 4/8 inches (6.5 cm). Together with a set of five silver teaspoons, having initialled terminals and decoration to reverse of bowls, British standard mark and indistinct maker's mark visible. Gross weight 2.8 ozt (87 grams). (2).

Condition Report
The lot is in overall fair condition. The hinge to the vesta is very stiff, does not stay firmly closed and with few minor dints to exterior, no date hallmark present. Teaspoon all with rubbing causing loss of definition to decoration and one bowl with minor creasing, British standard mark and indistinct maker's mark visible only.
