Lot Description
A pair case pocket watch by John White, Kirton. Silver cases, hallmarked London 1831. Numbered 50780. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Outer case 55mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial has a series of hairline cracks. There are some heavy chips to the edge of the dial as well. Poor attempts have been made to repair these. Dial appears to have been glued to the glass.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Hour hand has been snapped and is now short and bent at the tip.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. There is personal engraving to the outer case back but this is so worn now it is barely noticeable.
<li>Hinges appear intact.
<p>This lot does not come with box or papers.<p>
