A late Victorian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond dress ring. The graduated oval-shape sapphire line, with old-cut diamond sides. With a verbal stating a sapphire is of basaltic origin, no heat treatment. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1896. Ring size K. Weight 3gms.
