An early 20th century gold faience scarab ring. The blue glazed faience scarab, with hieroglyph cartouche reverse, rotating to the seated sphinx and palmette sides. Ring size J1/2. Weight 7.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Damage to the rope-twist surround of the scarab collet. Rope-twist detail may be later-added.
<li>Length of scarab 1.5cms.
<li>Slight soft solder to the scarab joins, may have small repairs.
<li>Possible traces of marks to the inside of the band, worn, indistinct.
