A late Victorian silver and gold, ruby and diamond crescent brooch. Comprising two graduated old-cut diamond and vari-cut ruby curved lines. Estimated total diamond weight 2.85cts, I-K colour, SI2-P2 clarity. Length 7.5cms. Weight 11.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Some replacement gems.
<li>Diamonds moderately well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Diamonds with dark and surface reaching inclusions. One diamond chipped.
<li>Rubies are a fairly well matched pinkish red through to medium deep red hues, varied tone and saturation, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Rubies in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
