An early 20th century platinum diamond brooch. Comprising two circular-cut diamond collets and graduated old-cut diamond collet sides, within an old and rose-cut diamond openwork geometric and forked-ribbon surround. Two principal diamonds estimated total weight 4cts, I-J colour, SI clarity. French assay marks. Length 6.3cms. Weight 19.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One of the small support loops is deficient to the reverse.
<li>Small area of significant discolouration.
<li>Diamonds moderately well matched.
<li>Most diamonds with light, scattered inclusions, few surface reaching.
<li>Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Some of the old-cut diamonds to the surround are tinted a light yellow hue.
