Lot Description
A late Victorian gold, banded agate and enamel pendant. The circular banded agate cabochon with blue enamel and claw mount and cannetille surrounds, suspending a similarly-designed fringe. May be worn as a brooch. Length 6.6cms. Weight 24.3gms. With fitted case.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Minor areas of discolouration to the reverse.
<li>Damage and wear to the blue enamel.
<li>Evidence of re-enamelling.
<li>Enameling on drops is in a poorer condition than the principal surround.
<li>Agates are of varying colour, all with a white band visible.
<li>Agates, brownish-yellow, brownish-red and black.
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>Pendant surmount folds back so the piece may be worn as a brooch.
<li>With a brown leather fitted case.
