A mid Victorian gold emerald and split pearl hinged bangle, circa 1870. Designed as two vari-shape emerald and split-pearl crossover panels, with bead detail and plain hinged reverse. Inner diameter 5.9cms. Weight 23.6gms. With associated case.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. <p>

<li> Clasp bent, more apparent when opened. <p>
<li> Some bead highlights deficient. <p>
<li> Some heavier patches of discolouration may require professional attention. <p>
<li> Emerald fairly light to medium green, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li> Split pearls slightly creamy-white, with fairly strong pink and green overtones, good lustre and even skins. <p>
<li> Stones in mostly good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
