A 1960s 18ct gold beryl brooch. The geometric, textured and polished bars, with three beryl crystal highlights. Maker's marks SM. Hallmarks for London, 1966. Length 4.7cms. Weight 18.8gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Localised area of discolouration to the front of brooch.
<li>A few areas of discolouration to the brooch reverse.
<li>Beryl is in its rough crystal form.
<li>Beryl medium yellowish-green, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
